 Project Management is essential to the successful installation and smooth running of ICT services.
Datec have a team of Project Management Professionals, either PMP or PRINCE2™ certified, who have indepth experience across ICT disciplines and proven exposure to the Industries that we service today.
Datec offers the INSIGHT Project Management Application, from Metafuse® USA, to provide scheduling, task management, document management, authorization, financial control and reporting. We can successfully undertake around 300 projects a year, many of them large and complex. Our Project Management Division provides control of all technologies and observance of best practice. We handle wireless and fixed communications, networks, servers, cabling, workstations, packaged applications, power, implementation of best practice, training and consultancy. In fact, anything in ICT related fields.
All solution services that contain a degree of complexity are assigned a dedicated Project Manager. All of our full time staff are experienced and qualified to PRINCE 2™ Practitioner Level.
PRINCE 2™ is a globally recognized project management methodology. Originating from the UK, it is based on the Managing Successful Projects Using PRINCE 2™ (by OGC). This system has gained widespread acceptance and is currently used in 29 countries world-wide.
