Datec Turns 33

Today marked a very special day for Datec(PNG)Ltd, we turned 33. Since opening our doors in 1985, Datec has grown to be one of the biggest names in the ICT industry in Papua New Guinea. We provide ICT solutions and services to various industry sectors, making our service and solutions diversity second to none in PNG.
We a proud of the service that we have provided for the last 33 years and we look forward to contininuing with the provision of Innovative service and support for many years to come.

Datec (PNG) Ltd joined the rest of Papua New Guinea to celebrated PNG’s 43rd independence at our Datec Port Moresby premises. Datec is proud to be part of its contributions towards the ICT sector in Papua New Guinea and we look forward to continuing our varied support in the years to come.
St Johns Ambulance Donation

Datec as PNG’s leading ICT Solutions and Service provider for over 30 years has always endeavoured to give back to the community, a trait that stems from our strong social conscience to make a meaningful impact in the society in which we operate in.We believe that Health and Education are the fundamental building blocks of any developing country and are therefore important areas to investment in, hence Datec’s support of programs and organizations that aim to make a difference within these areas.One such organization, is the St John’s Ambulance Service of Papua New Guinea.The life saving work they carry out daily, to ensure that sick and injured Papua New Guineans are given the immediate medical attention they need, is vital to the community.
In order to support this service, Datec is pleased to announce a donation of server equipment which will go towards helping the St John’s Ambulance service with their IT system set up.The donation took place at the Royal Port Moresby Golf club on Wednesday 3rd of October 2018, the donation was received by the Chief Office for the St John’s Ambulance Mr Matt Canon .

Polio Vacination

The recent outbreak of Polio is a growing concern for many Papua New Guineans. As a caring employer, the health and well being of our employees is of paramount importance to us, Datec has taken on the responsibility to ensure that our staff are fully vaccinated against this disease.
Recently mobile vaccinations teams have visited our various retail outlets in the country to ensure that our staff are vaccinated against t Polio.
Friday our Port Moresby office staff where given their oral vaccination drops by the City Pharmacy team.
